MAGNUM PHOTOS: 80 Años desde el inicio de la guerra española

July 17th 2016 marks 80 years since the start of the Nationalist coup that lead to the Spanish Civil War.
The Spanish Civil War is often depicted as a premise to the Second World War, with civilians being targeted on a regular basis, as was the case in the Spanish town of Guernica.
European intellectuals were extremely concerned about the conflict, participating in the fight or documenting it, as was the case for George Orwell, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Picasso and Gerda Taro.
One of the most famous picture of the 20th century, The Falling Soldier, was taken by Robert Capa at the midst of the civil war.
